Have you read about the 'extra easy' option they do now where you can combine Red and Green free foods.....and you only have 1 HeA and 1 HeB? (I think thats right!)
We are doing that at the moment, and you'd never know it was a diet! It means you can have spag bol, chilli and rice or steak of the bbq with SW chips....I think it's great! |

It is actually hard work dieting unless you only prepare food for yourself, but when you have a family, one a semi veggy another that can eat what they want and then you. All you do is think about food all day, what's for supper? What will work for everyone? I've only just eaten but what will I eat in 3 hours that's going to be good for me when I'm not actually hungry. Crap I've run out of rabbit food I don't feel like going to the shops. I've got to chop a million and one veggies, I've been working all day and all I want is something put in front of me but hang on a minute I have to weigh and measure and write down every morsel that's going in my mouth and actually that supper is foul and I'm still hungry but I can't face another apple, I just want some bread.........But I can't because I've had this months carb allowance Aaarrrrghgghhh!
QUOTE] That is the good thing about Nutrisystem or so I am finding so far. You have your meals ready for you so no thinking of what shall I get for dinner - just which one do I want today. You get normal meals for the family and you know that your meal is taken care of. No carb allowances or calorie counting. The food isn't brilliant but it is edible and there is quite a lot of choice. It is also teaching me about portion sizes and that I have to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Normally don't touch breakfast and rarely lunch but make up for it in the evening. I've also bought myself a small plate and bowl so smaller portions don't look lost on a normal plate. |

do you do your own thing, or a member on SW Online?
I just do my own thing really.....I have an old set of books and a couple of forums to keep me on track (oh, and hubby is following it too....he doesn't have much choice!) It's great that I can cook a meal for the whole family, and not have to do seperate meals for me :D Oh, and I've never seen quorn in the shops....but I live in Alberta and I think it's illegal here  N |
Re: Slimming World
I just got my mum to send me her Slimming World books over. First week in, and so far, so good
Does anyone know where is a good source for recipes? Or the SW password of the week? Am considering joining online, just so I can access the recipes! The SW website has a few, but not many, and a Google search seems to bring up all the same ones. However, financially, things are a bit on the tight side for the next few months  |
Re: Slimming World

I find there are some fab recipes on there, people alter and create lots of different meals, I have got some good info from there. Karen |
