Hello all, this is my first time on here.
I am a Dundee United fan and am going to be stuck in Calgary on cup final day.....anyone know how I can get to watch it? A bar would be great but if not tv or online would be great.
Any ideas?

What a splendid opening post... !!!
Not sure what bars will be showing it yet, will start to keep listening out for who/where etc.
If all else fails, it'll be via internet at my hoose!
Tell us all a bit more about who you are, where you are and why you're here etc.

A bit about me? You've put me on the spot now. Well, I'm not an expat- I live in London (from Edinburgh originally), but I do spend 2-3 months of the year over in Calgary as it's where my lady-friend is from.
I didn't plan very well and booked my flights a week early by mistake. I have managed to watch Dundee United at peanuts pub on a few occasions when I've been over - but only when they have been playing one of the ugly sisters - just need to make sure I find a way of watching it this year - not often we have this chance.

Not good planning, sir!
Peanuts would have been the first bar I suggested, but as you say, the OF aren't in it this year so there won't be any Tinks or Orcs who want to start drinking at 8 a.m. Calgary doesn't have many United supporters, and even less Ross County supporters, so it may not be viable for the sports bars to open early for the game.
Will keep you posted if I find out who's showing it.

Very doubtfull that game will be screened in Canada for being able to watch it in the pub (never say never though )- scottish cup has a different set of copywrite rules -
I refuse to watch it meself for obvious reasons
(Could you bloody arabs not just have been happy enough getting 3rd place ) High quality links will be available though

Dont know if you're aware of this site http://www.myp2p.eu
It's generally pretty good, but depending on what software it's streamed in.
I always try and get games running on Veetle....free download and quality's a lot better

I use the streaming lounge colin - we have 3 of our own veetle streamers - so usually good quality - I'm sure you have come across our veetle streams on p2p - We seem to have an unwritten sharing agreement

Yes, it's attached to the Carriage House Inn down on McLeod in the South.

I didn't realise you streamed the games yourself

)Hinge and Tony have some of the fancy motorized satellite deals so they can stream some games that not a lot of others can get
2 of them are stoke fans and 1 is a liverpool fan so their own games take priority but they have been great streaming the Scottish games for some of us - even managed to get the Dundee games on Alba this season from hinge
worthwhile signing in and having a looky around
