Now we know where Kevin O'Leary got the idea from.

Just spent two and half hours making a white bean and olive soup and a Mediterranean orzo salad for HID’s staff appreciation lunch tomorrow, while she did bugger all. I’m meant to be the abstracted scholarly one in the relationship.

Well it's a good job that you will be able to take off your pinny and put down your pink marigolds and enjoy going out on the lash with Snowy, Engineer, Tootle and the rest of the gang down the pub on Thursday night then
(I rsvp'd on your behalf, I hope you didn't mind)

Wed into Thurs shall be interesting weather wise.

Warm air mass and storm coming Wed. Start with snow then freezing rain turning to rain.

At least thats the warning as of now.

I'm sitting counting time, as I have to go and pick my husband up from the airport in 3 hours I am truly sick of the bloody snow! I want to walk and run and doooo things, but this stuff keeps on falling, it's not been the coldest or the most horrible, but NOW I really want the thing to finish Comparing the relative prices of traction sand for the driveway was not something I had planned for.

Rant over! Thank you....

Have you had more than us then? So far it's been a lot like last winter's picnic. Ice storm excepted of course.

We were supposed to have had 10-15cm of snow today, followed by ice pellets and prolonged freezing rain. We had half the snow and neither of the others.

We are due around 30cm Thursday night/Friday morning.

I've got the dreaded lurgy, aka a flu type virus. Forgot to get a flu shot this year didn't I? I'm just relieved that I've had pneumonia vaccinations so at least I can breathe as I stagger from bed to couch and then back to bed when sitting up is too tiring.

You only had 5cm on the ground?

Thats nothing...lol

A snow blower would be handy, our street is so bad our car gets stuck. Hasnt been plowed yet since the storm over the weekend.
