That's really weird. Shortly before waking up this morning I had a dream of flying over terrain powered by a gas cylinder type device. Than after waking up I read this post with a video of a similar device, something I have never seen before.
I recall reading somewhere (might have been Toffler) a theory that it is possible to dream of events slightly in the future, like some sort of temporal warp. Looks like it is true.

Good heavens. Last night I dreamed that someone was going to say exactly that. ;)

It goes nice with coffee and a small Goldschlager.

I haven't looked, but I suspect that Switzerland has a pretty good trade agreement with Canada.

I've not seen any Lindt punchier than 80% here in the two years since upping sticks.

Goldschlager? Really?? I suppose it would depend on a) what one paid for it and b) what one cut it with to make it palatable.

Very nice - and a total bargain!! Have you tried 'Our Finest Excellence' (swiss) 85% / 90% - they also have salted / caramel / orange etc., Walmarts $2 https://www.walmart.ca/en/chocolate/N-3024+1019620
This is delicious...but not cheap.. like the 'balls' but in bar form. :D

The Lindor balls are really dangerous.

I've been straight for coming on four year now, honest. ;)

Walmart's "Our Finest" products are pretty good.
But their Great Value choc is just horrible. Might be okay for kids.

It's honestly amazing how much dust can collect in a fan in about 40 days time.

I didn't indulge in the Lindor balls for 2 years.. kept away despite the temptations, knowing that they could be my downfall (clogging my arteries more than they are already) - - - but then I discovered BARS of Lindtdor that were made the same way as the balls... melted in your mouth.. coating your tastebuds in that delicious addictive substance.. and I was lost..... I thought I could have "just one square! cut up in to pieces... once or twice a week.......... honestly, just ONE square....................and then 1 turned into 2.. then into 4 and before I knew it I could eat half a bar in a day.. I had to stop myself from buying it... but it's soooooo yummy!
:D

I ‘really’ don’t like chocolate much...but oh gosh those Lindor balls!!! My son, rather sweetly, still thinks I buy him a box from Costco when he has got a good result for something, or high days and holidays...I hope he never discovers it’s because I know he hates Plain Chocolate and ‘I do him a favour’ so we don’t have to waste them...yet again ‘Maman selflessly takes one for the team’ ;)

Taking one for the team... well done Millie - I understand the sacrifice :D

I think it's $17 something before tax for the 375ml (mickey) bottle, so it's expensive, but not something I drink a lot of. You don't cut it; you have a sip then a sip of coffee after. A 750ml bottle of Drambuie is $50 tax in, but worth it, same deal. I couldn't make the bottle for $50. We're patronizing the arts here.
Something you probably get for pennies there but I can't have at all is Stroh rum. A friend's father brought it back from Europe and when he gave me the shot he said "This is what the old Nazi's put in their tea." (and yeah, his dad was an old Nazi). It's too strong to really drink, but if you put just a few drops on your tongue it tastes like a Cadbury Rum & Butter candy bar.

Had no idea it took so much time to make Tabasco sauce.

I'm not really into rum, but just had a look for Stroh on my preferred supermarket website. They have two versions, the "kiddies" stuff (38%) is €16.99 for 750ml so CAD 26.45.

I'll guess that you were talking about the stronger one (80%) which here is €22.99 for 500ml, so CAD 35.78.

I used to blend my own "Swiss moitié-moitié" using pear liqueur and eau de vie, coming out around 40%, but I can't find either of those up here. :(

Lol. Someone’s PR person is on shaky ground. Maybe Carrie could cut short her maternity leave?
