Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
I would like to thank all those members of this site who pay Canadian taxes. As a senior and in line with Mr Trudeau’s promise to pay(give) to all seniors the princely sum of $300 our bank account was enhanced recently in the amount of $600 (2x$300). I’m pleased to say i (we) do not need these funds so immediately donated the amount to the local Food Bank on behalf of all Canadian taxpayers.

I ordered a piece of exercise equipment from Amazon.ca for my MIL on Thursday.
Expected delivery (free) on Wednesday or pay $48 to have it tomorrow - Monday. Not worth forking out almost $50 just to have it 2 days earlier. Especially as it arrived today, Sunday. I've only used Amazon once, wasn't a very good experience so didn't bother again. A couple of my sisters use it though and haven't had any problems, so I might give it another try. |

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
I put a tenner on a horse to finish at 20 to 1. Crossed the finish line at 10 past 7. Never bet on another horse since.
