Looking for these I found you can get a two-pack, I wonder if a mosquito rally is possible? They also had a bug killing nerf gun type thing which fires salt. Sounds messy but I am tempted. :sneaky:

Salt is for slugs, so depends on where you are. [I can hear dear Aunt Madeline "You're just a big kid!"]

Something to look forward to anyway  It does look beautiful though. Snow has such a fascination for me, I've only seen snow that stuck once, over one Christmas in NW England. My husband made a video of me running around like an idiot and making snowballs, the family back in Perth were having a 40+C heatwave and were very jealous.

I'm a New Yorker and Hubby's a Canadian so we are both familiar with snow. I never minded snow because I wasn't a home owner but an apt. renter so I didn't have to shovel anything but a path around my car. I took mass transit to the office and that ran 99.6% of the time. Found the 'burbs in Ottawa had a great public thoroughfare method of street plowing. I was stuck there in the Ice Storm of '98.

That's weird. Since that snow warning appeared for northern NB, the forecasts for here and your gaff were much the same, that is about an inch to be washed away by rain. And so far it's been accurate for us. Rain since mid morning. Bit of lightning too.

Perhaps we'll see some after all.

I was going to come up with something witty but I can't beat Millie's comment.

There comes a time when you have to put the air conditioning on and it occurs to you that just three days ago you still needed some heating. Then y ou realise spring came and went. That's not me bing witty, that's the truth.

Autumn is great though.

One day years ago I was sitting with my neighbours outside their cottage at the beach, and in the space of about 3 hours that afternoon we experienced nearly every kind of weather, barring tornadoes. It was surreal.

I like the snow but its mostly a novelty in Vancouver, we don't get much, a few days a year, some years we don't get any. When it does snow in Vancouver though it causes a mess, it doesn't snow often enough to justify spending large sums of money on snow removal equipment, so they do the bare minimum.

Nice in Vancouver this weekend, very spring like.

I would imagine those on the 4th floor have a pretty nice view.
