Pfft. Next you'll be claiming not to be familiar with Donny Osmond. Or Chicory Tip. Or Middle Of The Road.
Are you ready to tell me your PIN yet? Now, here's a thing... long running UK (Channel 4) afternoon show Countdown... remember that? They have guests, each does a stint of 4-5 days, then they change over. Favourite guests come back fairly often, and a huge favourite is none other than Donny Osmond. He's come a long way since Crazy horses... |

Not sure if BC has the same sort of law, but man wish cops gave tickets more often for people driving too slow on highways. |

Too bad patients can't charge doctors for cancelling appointments with little notice, 2nd time this week my appointment has been cancelled less than 2 hours before.
Amazon must have worked some sort of bulk program with Canada Post for returns, for years return label had an address in ON, but doing a return today and the label has a Richmond, BC address which is the Canada Post processing plant. Can only guess CP must now collect the returns and send them via bulk at once to Amazon somewhere. |

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
I don't travel on transit often, so a pass isn't worthwhile and would be a waste of money, but Vancouver's transit is so stupid when it comes to pay cash fares.
Can't transfer from bus to train, so if you don't live on a skytrain line and need a bus first, you end up paying a premium. Example to get to DBT from my house, I need to take a bus, sky train then Canada Line. So I have to pay 2.95 or whatever it is for the bus now. Then pay again at the train station another 2.95. At least coming home its just one fare, you can transfer train to bus. So annoying. |

Gotta love the one month of the year that you get two Govt UK pension payments.

My sister posted photos of her new house, its quite nice. 4 bed, 2 bath, swimming pool, nice sized yard, 2,000 sq feet. All tile flooring, a/c (its in Phoenix where a/c is a necessity)

Thanks for posting that! I know most of those scenes, swam in English Bay back then and remember over half of the other pics as they were back then.
I like looking at old photos of city's, before my time though. When not working, its incredibly hard to find enough things to do to not be bored, near impossible to occupy 12 hours a day. |
