Canada Post probably has them delay it so they can get the mailing costs for those posting them.
I get a reduction in property tax based on the return but because of this delay it's never done in time for the new property tax bill and I end up paying the full amount, getting a credit and revision about six months later.

I just want my refund so I can pay some debt down....
The building we live in always has issues with the garage gate, like daily at the moment, it's idiotic and they (strata) won't replace it, they just keep patching it and it works for a few hours then stops again for hours.
No way to get cars in or out during this, no long term street parking available, and people end up late for work as they cannot leave or miss doctors appointments like my other half did as we could not get the car out of the garage.

Does it make a difference if you print it and send it off? I remember in the early days of doing ours, we printed them and mailed and our CRA online accounts showed them as having been done about two weeks later. That might be because we were among the first whereas now they'll have plenty others perhaps.
I'm trying an experiment this year. Although Netfiling is not available yet, I have reported line 260 to the province.
Of course they'll not be able to check it yet but maybe if it's already in their system they'll check it sooner.

Was at Petsmart yesterday (I don't normally buy things from big box pet stores.) and they had a female betta fish in one of those little cups, obviously she had been there a while, and not looking very good, tattered fins from high ammonia in the cup, and sunken belly from lack of eating, and I almost though she was dead.
They sell the females for $2.99, so I bought her.
Brought her home, and put her in a 10 gallon I had in storage, took some bio media from the other tank, and got a spare filter going, some spare decorations and gravel, and let her be.
This morning she is swimming a bit and exploring, so I am hoping with clean filtered water she will pull through, if she does she will go into my tank, but she needs time to recover.
I feel bad for bettas they live a poor life typically and end up dying prematurely.
For the record bettas cannot live healthy long lives in cups, unfiltered and unheated water.
They need at minimum 3 gallons of water, a small heater and filter.
Preferably at least 5 gallons of water. They prefer warmer temps of 78F-80F
Life span in captivity when provided what they need is 3-5 years.

She seems to be perking up nicely. Swimming and exploring. Probably the most space she has ever had in her life.

I knew 2 guys that got kicked out of a Joe Cocker concert.
I said "What the hell did you do!?"
They'd started a fight. Both of them were run over and killed, years apart, one by accident and one on purpose.
