Can’t do it now though...I too feel somewhat overwhelmed...I think everyone does though...it would be odd If you didn’t?

Yeah I usually listen to Jeremy Vine in the afternoons ( I enjoy the squabbling) and then other presenters of Radio 2. I've not been listening to my usual programming. I do try to check in with what's going on in Alberta and UK once a day to get the facts and not just FB gossip. I think i need a good cry. Thank god for a puppy that makes me laugh and gives me something to think about. Quite surreal going shopping for groceries, thankfully we can still get groceries.

I am a great believer in the healing power of a great big cry, a real wrack and tear your heart out till you have nothing left to give, once in a while, at high volume, is a fantastic stress buster. The problem with this present time is that my husband and son are both stuck in the house with me and it would distress them - every time I get sniffly, they try to make me feel better.

I think it would be impossible to be very unhappy with a puppy...I have a young and very beautiful little cat who is so intense in her enjoyment of life, you can’t but smile

Prices rising in some segments of retail already due to the exchange rate. Got a couple emails from smaller companies I have ordered from in the past.

Me too, think I'll be ordering some clippers for a bit of DIY by next week. Alternatively, I warned my wife I might go for a silver man-bun.

I laugh everytime I am indisposed on the loo and out of the corner of my eye I see a puppy charging past the door with some clothes that she has stolen out of the closet (that I keep forgetting to close). I'm trying to teach her to use puppy bells when she needs to go outside, not going very well, she will just sit looking at the door, when she is really desperate she will bring a shoe, she makes me laugh, thank god for puppies and kitties and all the other animals we like to keep. <3

I’ve just cut hubby’s hair with the new hair clippers I ordered. I was a little nervous because I’ve only used hair clippers on our dog and that was 10+ years ago. I’ve done a better job than the normal place he goes to...even if I do say it myself. :D

OH has been doing mine for the past twenty years, and perfectly so.

I went to a barber December before last, only because I had a couple of hours to lose and fancied a hot towel razor shave.

Someone posted a picture taken last year at the end of March in Vancouver and prices were 1.57-1.60 range, and today anywhere from 0.92 to 0.98 range, even a month ago it was around 1.45-1.50 range. Never seen such a huge drop before so quickly, but without commuters, the demand has plummeted as have oil prices.

If Jim Carrey were the option...tomorrow wouldn’t be in my future! I really can’t bear him, as opposed to my husband, who thinks! Ace Ventura can do no wrong  Stupid character

Photo of the back of his head or it didn't happen. What number did you use out of interest? It is a bit of an art I think.

I've been clippering MrBEVS head for the past 16 years since we came to NZ really. A barber tried to give MrBEVS scalp a side parting  and that put him off.

Now the thing is do I let himself cut my own hair ?

I started at the back with largest comb on the end of the shaver and worked down...there are 6. Non seemed to make much difference, in the end I used the smallest for the back then I did the sides. I worked from top to bottom, hubby said the hairdresser works from the bottom upwards. I didn’t do that because I was afraid it would take too much off. I cut the hair on top with scissors.

I remodeled a few houses and never found one, but maybe it's an American thing. I did shave with those safety razors when I was young though. I had a sharpener you'd put the blade in then turn a crank, and it would whip around inside with a couple of cylindrical stones honing both sides. You can also sharpen them on the inside of a drinking glass. Disposables are a lot better.

Canadian Tire location in Vancouver has 5 gallon buckets of hand sanitizer, $249

One broken down to liter price is pretty on par with smaller bottles. But man is that a lot of it, 5 gallons.

Put your Blue Blade inside a glass, put just a little pressure on it with your finger, and whisk it back and forth, then reverse the blade and do the other side. Someone designed a gizmo to make it easier, but I've never seen one.
"It has been found that by moving cutting edges over a smooth surface, such as the inner 1930. Serial No. 443,812.
smooth surface of a drinking glass, such cutting edges can be sharpened in a manner such as will give an extremely smooth shave."

This game is best played on a mobile device, but can be played on computer as well.

All you have to to is tap from 1-50

Try to remove the numbers from 1 to 50 by touching on your screen in the "correct sequence" from 1 → 50

1to50

Scoring:

10-19 Seconds: Impossible

20-29 Seconds: Liar

30-39 Seconds: You're Special

40-59 Seconds: Expert

60-79 Seconds: Normal

80-99 Seconds: You're Getting Old

100+ Seconds: You Are Old
