Had a great meal in a fab Peruvian restaurant in Portland this evening- what does eldest pup want for a drink? He liked the sound of the drink in the photo.." because it had rose water in it"- he is a student...students drink beer, not pink cocktails with rose water in them FFS...where did I go wrong? :(

You should stop down in Eugene and take a tour of a real North American university. :)

Andina- in the Pearl District- #1 on Tripadviser out of about 1500 restaurants and well deserved. Thankfully they didn't serve guinea pig to go with your carrot

The Saturday market in Eugene will take you back to a different era. I gather Trump isn't too popular there.

I was hoping for some Cuy chactado. I will put it on my list of places to go. I don't go into Portland if I can help it, but might make a trip worthwhile.

I lived downtown and my bedroom window opened up above it, so I hated the Saturday Market as inevitably some smelly cad would start playing the bongos at 7:00 in the morning. :frown:

Went twice in 2008 with friends of ours who lived in Corvallis. I do recall a lot of zoned out people involved in a random drumming circle.

There was a lot of guilt free/shade grown/holistic/kale infused/first pressing food available to eat.

Well, you should have put them away when you finished playing them at 3.00 am before you went inside.

Now a smelly cat might have made you like Saturday mornings

65 hours per year is what congestion costs me just on my commute home from work.

There is no traffic on the way to work so it quick and easy.

Have a 4 day weekend this weekend so that is nice and only work 3 days next week which is awesome then 3 days off.
