I thought the stuff in the news about the Marathon Man was great.

Running 401 marathons in as many days is incredible. That has to be hard on the joints. He must be pretty light on his feet.

Funny that...just a couple of days earlier I read of someone whose girlfriend bet him 20p he couldn't run one, so he went out and did it and he followed up with multiple marathons too.

Got a pick up notice today for a registered letter that was sent from Winnipeg, odd as we don't know anyone there, and not behind on any bills or anything like that, won't know til tomorrow since Canada Post doesn't even try to deliver things like this anymore.

Oh what could it be.

Not likely. I already got that via email from California last week.

It could be anything from anyone using a mail centre there.

Back in my social security work days I would process something on the computer in Bristol and the decision letter/information sheets would be mailed from the North end of the country.

Letters about my UK civil service pension have come to me in Canada via Sweden and France.

Can you look at my thread http://britishexpats.com/forum/maple...s-done-884270/

I just wondered if you're able to comment on what sort of process might be involved in a similar scenario with WorksafeBC.

But you can always take the fifth

It was a letter regarding Charlee. We had cancelled her health insurance in September and this was just a letter confirming the policy was cancelled.

I ordered something on Amazon on Tuesday. It was something I needed by the weekend. I went for 2-day delivery as opposed to next-day (cheaper).

I still got it the next day.

That's pretty quick. I would be happy if the 2 day stuff got here in 2 days...lol

My prime membership was supposed to expire in April, but because Canada Post always takes 3 to 4 days to get a 2 day prime package 60km, I am up to March 2017 now before expiry.

You would think they would stop using Canada Post when I order.
