Ruger Mini 14? Hell yeah!!!

I saw a family of Racoons in Bridlewood.

They aren't indigeneous and are slowly infiltrating.

Not enough coyetes obviously.

As it happens we do have a Ruger .22, not sure of the model but it's adequate for racoons, porcupines, possums and all the rest. It wont do for a horse but we have a handgun in case that need ever arises. We aint in Camden no more.

Downtown Vancouver has lots of raccoons, especially in Stanley Park where tourists like to hand-feed them crap!

In New Brunswick, Raccoons are frequent visitors to the whelbourn backyard in the summer and autumn. Red squirrels are tame visitors taking peanuts from your hands.

Jules has found a couple of snakes while gardening (perfectly harmless) and I bumped into a skunk and managed to get back behind the garage before it sprayed

We had a bear in the back garden and turned over our composter but disappeared later.

haven't seen a bear in the wild yet (probably a good thing I know) but would like to see one

I had a shock when i first saw one. For some reason I thought they were the size of squirrels. The first i saw was the size of medium dog! I did n't know what it was! Scared the hell out of me.

I am a cop in Burnaby, BC. Twice last year we had bears in North Burnaby - which is a heavily populated are - very odd.

Also, about 4 years ago, we had a cougar trapped in someones kitchen.

were they just let go or did they have to be shot?
