And golf. Let's not forget golf. Even that bastion of male chauvinism, the Marylebone Cricket Club, voted to allow female members way back in the mists of the last century (well, 1998, anyway). Augusta National admitted women this year, but the Royal & Ancient still holds out as an all-male institution.

Perhaps greater female membership would curb the wilder excesses of the golfing wardrobe?

It's disgraceful what the rest of Canada lets Quebec get away with. Let them leave and take all their debt with them.

All those sort of plans like putting them in leaky boats and shipping them back to France are impractical. After the big fight on the Plains of Abraham, even though they lost, we gave them the right to stay there, to maintain their language, and religion and culture, and you know, once you give someone some rights it's hard as hell to get them back. The debt isn't something I'm well versed in, but it's been long rumoured around here that they get more than their share of something. I've only been there once and I was left with the impression that Montreal has more than it's rightful share of beautiful women.
