Perhaps I haven't been diligent enough in perusing the "news" outlets that cover this in such minute detail - and of course, the LameStream Media is all about protecting the Global Conspiracy or something, so there's that - but I haven't seen any indication anywhere that they're "requesting" security. I thought the whole point of this exercise was to withdraw from the limelight to the extent that their need for security diminishes.

Seems that the prospect of trips to places such as Derby, Swansea, Hull etc on a regular basis, even if helicoptered in, was diagnosed as risky to the soul and mental health for them.

The article doesn't seem to say that. The article, from 2018, says that, in the opinion of someone who doesn't know the people involved, the marriage isn't likely to last.

I am, of course, in sympathy with the view that it would be better to live in Canada than to visit the places you mention but we've no way of knowing whether or not the couple in question think that.

Is the argument advanced here that the Daily Mail has published an article that is not racist, therefore the Daily Mail's coverage is not racist? If so, I think it's weak. Stephen Yaxley Lennon may, from time to time, say something that's not racist, without diminishing his status as one of the primary racists of our era.

One thing puzzling...I thought the diary of senior royals was booked months and months in advance. If so, how come Harry had only yesterday’s appointment to attend and now his diary is empty.
