I am not a morning type pup but sometimes it is worth getting up early even if 4.30am is ridiculously early....I was glad I did.

Smart idea though, gets tourists there. Before they decided in the 60's to go the theme town route, it was a dying logging town with no real future ahead of it.
Solvang, California is Danish styled, although that town was founded by Danes and don't think it was purposely built as a tourist attraction but has since become one.
