A family of raccoons lives in the dead tree in the ravine behind our house. Annoying vermin though they are, the babies are a bit cute. We think there are five altogether - four are visible in this picture (two on the branch on the right, one crawling in to the hole on the left, and a head is just visible looking out of the hole in the middle...)

Ooh - thanks! Not the best source photo - my excuse is that to get the right angle to film the little buggers I was hanging off the kids' swingset/climbing frame thingy and holding the camera over my head, shooting from bright sunshine into deep shadow. Your adjustments more than make up for my lack of finesse and prowess!
