I know. What I meant is that I've never heard anyone say there are no snakes here; but I have heard quite a few people say no venomous ones. I *think* there are rattle snakes in BC in the deserty bits though - not sure about the rest of Canada.

Mine was taken from a boat like this. The well known Star Ferry Iceberg, Whale and Puffin tour.

As much I thought. We ran off to Bryce Canyon and went riding over Easter, not too much red rock around here.

Ooh, Bryce is spectacular, but the only photos I have have faded a bit since 1978 and probably aren't worth digitizing.
