But I have a British passport and used to live in Harrow, surely that means it would be ok for me to be in a bus lane?

I used to drink in Harrow. Fuller's pub, halfway up the hill, name escapes me now. Can I drive in the bicycle lane?

The Castle. I used to drink there too, and the Kings Head though that was a little weird. Talking of pubs yesterday someone asked me if I had taken a photo of the moon over the water, my first thought was "where's that pub?"

Of course you can drive in the bike lane, and the bus lane. Especially if they are empty and the other lanes are at a standstill.

Don't be silly woman, when would it ever get cold enough in the UK to warrant the use of block heaters

Now, hair straighteners that plugged into the cigarette lighter, that would be a good thing.

It's precisely this kind of injustice that has made me take the bus.
I thought you had to take the bus because you lost your car in a bet. That'll be the last time you bet that Harry Redknapp will win you the Premier League.

You were doing OK right up until this point. Then you committed the cardinal sin of attacking the country that you and the other folks on the board, chose to move to. After that you're dead meat.

Perhaps you'd like to move to Saskatchewan; you'll find we're much more reasonable about such things. But seriously, if you think you can walk into court representing yourself and try to present evidence that's normally given by expert witnesses and expect it to be allowed you deserve to be laughed at. In most places if road conditions are perfect you'll get away with 10k over the posted limit - not 15. If you cause an accident by driving too fast you'll be charged with driving too fast for road conditions or undue care and attention even if you aren't speeding. If the offender in a traffic stop is uncooperative with the officer that is in the report to the court and influences the fine as well. There's just sooooo much to learn, isn't there?
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
