We got to the DomRep on a last minute deal..the hotel was pretty nasty but the weather was lovely..rained for about 30 mins every afternoon but that was just a good reason to sit in the bar drinking the free drinks!!!

I loved it when we went outside the hotel complex and we saw all the locals on their scooters and such like...3 on a scooter or sometimes just one but carrying a table on his head or a gas cylinder whilst driving...Not surprising that companies won't insure you to drive over there
