The news reported that they were very calm, shot only one or two bullets at each victim, and aimed at the right area of the police car windscreen. A non-professional squad would be more like the crazed killers of Lee Rigby.

I don't think professional is a word that should be used. Police, Army and such like are professionals not these scum.

I would say they were exsperianced in the use of fire arms and came with a plan. Most likely trained or seasoned in battle at some point. NOT professional!!

News here speculated that they were ex-soldiers because of their manner.

Last night, according to Reuters, in an apparent reprisal a kebab shop next to a mosque in Villefranche-sur-Saone had it's window blown out in an explosion. Local authorities say nobody was wounded but now it's getting personal.
