Pastafarians also believe heaven has a beer volcano and a factory producing strippers.

Of course it's true, seems they went to great lengths to make it a recognized religion. Some people just like to make a point and that's my kind of heaven, baby. Pasta to the people!

No, the guys Austrian and they were just reporting it. But the question you should be asking is "how do I sign up?"

The UK is going to the dogs or in others minds already has gone to the dogs.
Seeing as Canada is always behind the UK wasnt it to be expected that we would follow suit. Why is Canada going to the dogs?
Perhaps if they had let the cats have some say then we might not be in this position.

I always find this stuff rather interesting.

Like the women trying to get into the male only golf clubs.

Men trying to get into the women only fitness centres.

The (east) indians applying for jobs at the fire department that must have no facial hair for safety reasons (respirator - a no brainer) but then they win on religious grounds and have to be hired but can't do the job.

But the best one by far and my favourite is the 'Pastafarian' wins religious freedom right to wear pasta strainer for driving licence

That is just beyond stupid. Wearing a colander for a driving licence photo. Some people need to go outside and have a word with themselves...

As beyond stupid as a Sikh applying for a job that has you wearing a respirator for your own safety so you can't have any facial hair. Then taking it to court to get the job and not shave your beard for religious reasons?

It's all kinda stupid but c'mon - who wouldn't want to wear a colander on their head for DL picture.

He is just pointing out that most of this PC stuff is getting stupid. And proving a point by enforcing his made up beliefs. Lets face it, the bible is a made up book, as is the other guys book that i dare not mention the name of, but begins with a K and ends in an.

I suppose that using the above argument she/he could say she is an on top Lesbian and can prove it, but can the Muslim prove that his book is real.

But its not stupid as some seem to make it out to be. Over the last 40 years society has changed and has begun to question laws, rules and regulations and we seem to be pushing the boundaries.
Why should a sikh be exempt from wearing a motor cycle helmet?
Why did Alberta Hutterites go to the Supreme Court of Canada regarding not wanting a photograph on their Alberta Driving Licence.
Why did a YMCA in Montreal have to have its windows tinted as the women in spandex and lycra offended the Synagogue across the road as they could see into the YMCA.

Of course its all Bollox but I say good on her why should a male muslim hairdresser refuse to cut her hair? Oh I get it its based on a religious belief but whoever forbid that some should think that the Lords prayer is appropriate at morning assembly or those who are Christians actually want to celebrate Christmas as opposed to the Holiday Season.
If you are offended by our religious beliefs then perhaps we are offended by your religious beliefs then.

Makes sense . Nobody should have the right to refuse, say no, to any service asked of them. Next thing they will think they live in a free country. Bloody idiots the lot of 'em
