I'll carry the camera tomorrow and try for a typical day. Here are some I have already.
The pub at the end of the street where we lived until recently. The architecture is typical of older suburbs and isn't very different from that in English cities. The pub's now been closed because the people who ran it did and sold a lot of drugs and were too out of it to pay the rent.
Infill housing. This used to be the racetrack, the area is known locally and derisively as Pleasantville. Those little houses all squashed together originally sold for $1,200,000 and up.
Railway cottages. Nice and gentrified but cramped by Canadian standards.

Of course, by LAW, the selling agent is required to clearly state that on all the paperwork. It is done that way so that no one is later able to say that they didn't KNOW about the history of the house.
