A better poll might have separated South-East and South-West. I spent most of my life in South-West england and it's a very different mindset and environment to the South-East.

southern ... sassenach to the roots ... I even live in South Alberta (sort of ....) Anything North-Of-Watford is NORTH to me! ;)
This thread is making me :D thankyou! It reminds me of me dad ... also southerner to his very depths .... I once reminded him he'd lived in Scotland ... which I thought was pretty much north .... but he retorted that it was Glasgow, hence SOUTHERN Scotland so that was OK! :p |
