Northerner or Southerner?

From a casual glance it seems that there are many more Northerners that feel the need to emigrate to Canada than Southerners, but I have no hard data to support that claim. So a I thought a poll could provide much needed evidence for any future discussions or posts.

*Please, lets keep the rhetoric civil, polite and with no unnecessary or malicious stereotyping.

So where's the poll??

Be sure to add "unknown", "unsure" "hyphenated"

You will need to define north and south.

See what your glance caused?

I think we all know deep down where we're from. No need for artificial boundaries.

I was born in the home counties, spent most of my "formative years" in the northwest, returned to the south for a few years as a late teen, then spent years at uni in Yorkshire, worked in Norfolk for a few years and then finally gave up and came to Canada (which is further south than anywhere I lived in the UK).

I couldnt and wouldnt define myself as a northerner or southerner.

So you'd define yourself as "other"?

Course not, Im from England, but I dont self identify as a northerner or southerner. Im sure more than a few other posters here have a similarly mobile upbringing too, hence the limitations of your poll:p

So where does that leave the majority of Man U supporters? Clearly they are not all northerners. And anyone who follows chelsea, bar about 20,000 who predate russian money are not real fans anyway, they just tagged along due to the glamour.
