No I just remember having a quick bite to eat one time in the yonge/eglinton centre and he and his entourage came waltzing past me on his mayoral campaign. He had so much makeup on he was glowing.
I did meet bob rae a few times though. I was organizing a tenants association for my apartment block and at the time he was all for tenants rights. I think he went on to federal politics ? There'll be strident disagreement about my opinions from the usual crowd of neanderthals on here, but Bob Rae is an OK guy with lots of good ideas. |

Big time. He ran for Federal Liberal Party leader last time around, when Stephan Dion got the nod. Dion had excellent policies, but zero charisma and resigned in January this year. Rae had another brief shot at it, but backed the current leader, Michael Ignatieff rather than force a race.

He was a disaster when he attempted to manage Ontario. Nice guy, perhaps. Good ideas, maybe. Ability to implement, none at all. He should limit himself to posting his good ideas on the internet. |
