OK so in the heady hours of last night my lovely cat had her kittens.
6 to be precise
mum and babies doing well.
There are 5 kitties that will have names chosen for them by kids in the family (holy sh1t that should be fun
seeing as the kids are very young 
) and one has already been named Mitten 
.
There are 2 gingers, 3 black and one tortoishell. So I would like everyone on here to come up with suggestions for the name of the torty
Something tongue in cheek and I would like it somehow BE related as a lasting memory.
Have at er guys

Three weeks in and we still haven't settled on a name. The vet didn't like Honda.
It's sort of a tradition in our household to not use names (it's Boy, Dog, Woman etc).
The paperwork still refers to her as chaton (kitten). We can't really stick with that because she won't always be a kitten and it also sounds iffy to the English ear. As a girly she isn't a chat but a chatte. That also sounds iffy.
At present, she is being called Minette (kitty, pussycat etc). She was called a few other things on Monday when Souvette was painting baseboards.
