To take it one step further, Cottage Pie butties are the business.

I miss pot noodle sarnies.

I used to like pot noodle sandwiches too, although I thought I was the only one that did it.

To take it a step even further, I used to eat slices of mint choc chip ice cream in a hot buttered toast sandwich. Very tasty.

Proper chip shop steak pudding (the steamed sort) on a buttie - that's just so cholesterol-bustingly magnificent and I haven't had one for YEARS and YEARS.
I feel it has to be done, especially before PR arrives (if it ever does!) - I don't expect they have this concept in Canada!

It's all I had in. Now I work from home most days I've got to get used to having proper food in the house for lunches. Although tomorrow I'm going to have fish finger sandwiches which I'm quite looking forward to.

You've marginally redeemed yourself there. A healthy lashing of HP, roasty hot fish fingers and a well buttered bap.

That was mean:frown:; I have had no tea ( I mean dinner/supper/whatever you call it!)
I feel hungry now.

I am at a loss to understand how people can eat so much food, particularly in the middle of the day. If I eat at lunchtime, I'm dead for the afternoon.

I will be having a salami and cheese salad sandwich today, I will also take an egg to cook in the microwave and a banana. I'm doing a full day at work, it's not nice to have a rumbly tummy in front of customers and I need to eat small amounts to keep the cheesy 'Hi how are you?'s going and sounding a little genuine:rofl:

Depends what you eat. It's good to get some iron-rich green veggies in there like spinach since that helps your blood capture oxygen and keeps you alert and awake after eating.
