Cobbs bread is the best.
Yesterday I had KD (kraft dinner) doctored with frozen veges. Nothing but the best for Kiwilass et famille. Today, hot dogs in cheap-ass Safeway buns with mustard, mayo & tomato sauce. Like I said, we insist on high lunch food standards. |

I don't get why the imported food shops don't just go to ASDA or something. The Smart Price Beans were only 29p! And very nice as well.

Two small baked potatoes (I like smaller ones rather than one big one - the skin is the best part!) baked at home in foil for an hour and then the foil opened up to crisp the skin a bit, with a little bit of butter and some cheddar cheese grated over. I just knew it was going to be great when I got that lovely smell of the hot, crispy potato skin as I took them out of the oven. Delicious:thumbsup:
PLEASE - never microwave a potato! It should be a deadly sin:frown: |

Today, I'm looking forward to Chunky Soup New England clam chowder. The key is to put boiling water into the Thermos flask and let it stand for while, then put your hot soup in it. That way it'll keep warm longer. :thumbup:

I had a veggie curry combo with naan bread and some rice from the international food court on hornby (or is it howe). They key there is to get there early at 11:45, that way you don't have to line up and you get a good table.

I went to IKEA for lunch again today, had Garden Veg soup, salad, dinner roll and a weird elderflower drink for $6.
Then I went down to the IKEA bistro and had one of their yummy frozen yogurts :D |

I think lunch is an underrated meal. People go on about breakfast and evening dinners but with lunch you usually get to eat it on your own and its break from work.

I have to say, I'm surprised at the amount of people having hot lunches. Meals that I would consider to be dinner rather than lunch. Does no one else have a banana chopped up in a bap, or am I a complete pleb?
