I've just slapped a steak and kidney from Herringtons in Port Perry in the oven. 45 minute wait... a pal in the pub gave to me. Big things expected. Now, do I pair with mash or what?

Must look for that Jamaican lobster bisque; I've found the PC soups one of the rare disappointments in the PC Range though.

I'd be tempted to have it on its own.

Mine was reduced to $2.99, not sure from what.

Ah it was the large cans I was thinking of. I'll have a look as I need to do my quarterly loblaws coffee run soon.

I basted some spuds with an olive oil/ hot sauce/ montreal steak spice mix. They turned out good but the pie was out of this world.

No luck on the Lobster Bisque in the Richmond Hill Loblaws.

Does remind me of when Tescos went totally Rowley Birkin and tried to stock everything in every single flavour available.... and then no one bought it (or not enough people)

Re: Lunchtime Choices

Our local meat and everything else store sells many odds and ends.
Steak ends, for example, which are actually very good pieces of steak.

But yesterday they had dollops (for want of a better word) of Mild Italian sausagemeat that hadn't been turned into Mild Italian sausages.

Just a dollop in Styrofoam trays the same as the sausages would be. They make great sausage meat patties.

I had one, with a fried egg and a hash brown pattie. Lurvely.
