I was in crawling along in traffic yesterday and I went past a DQ. I noticed they actually had the word "restaurant" on it. I thought that was a bit of artistic licence.

After having a couple of Bovrils I thought I could do better so made a delicious chicken consomme; boiled up the wing tips I'd saved and skimmed the fat then loaded in the goodies, simmered it down for a couple of hours and strained.

Had first ever yesterday. Although I'm pretty sure it wasn't mini. Candy cane, so seasonal, and not bad, if not ideal to eat while driving.

Blizzards and other DQ ice milk products are great.

I knew nobody would want to go out for lunch because it's cold so brought last night's left over chicken curry to nuke. While policing up the bottles from Saturday's sold out show I found that the band had left me a big bottle of Bushwakker IPA in the greenroom. Aaaahhhh.

There's been an external and unilaterally imposed moratorium on takeaways so its a skinless chicken breast on a green salad plus a mango, cherry and spinach smoothie for pudding. :(

Does the spinach enhance the mango cherry? Sounds an odd combo.
