Good News!!!! M&S now delivers to Canada:thumbsup:

Sadly the 7-10 day delivery time might not bring this sandwich to you in peak condition, but then, as you say the Canadian alternatives are hardly more appetising.

I'm having some Italian Wedding soup (no crackers).

Is Italian Wedding soup available in any country other than Canada?

I suppose you could make some if you bought some of that little shell pasta. If you've opened a can of Sunbrite/Unico/Primo soup, probably only in Canada.
I made creamed mushrooms on toast for brunch with green onions and a little oregano with grated cheese. On deck in the slow-cooker World Class Pork and Beans. That's going to take ages so I see a bacon sandwich in my immediate future.

Healthy flax bread toast, unlike the white French bread I'll have with the bacon.
Oh sorry Bells, you meant you had toast.... Afraid I'm a little non compos mentis today.

That sounds very delicious and it HAS to be white bread for a bacon buttie!

Already made this morning - Merguez sausage with tomato and lentil casserole, savoury mince with carrots and onions, to be followed by jointing a very large chicken for chicken and leek stew with the carcase for soup and some of the meat with gravy, mash and veg for tea tonight.

Phew!

Mind you, it saves me a whole lot of time and a lot of calories from the inevitable drive home pizza purchases that occur if I know I haven't got any easily-made food at home when I am late back.

Although I haven't eaten any of it, I have cooked so much this morning, I don't really feel like any lunch

Had something called pho, which is Vietnamese soup with meat, vegetables and spaghetti in it. It tasted a lot better than it looked.

Me too! I had my usual #36 Beef Sate pho at N'goc Van noodle house. I like almost all the food there.
