Well, as you were working for a seafood processor, I assume they at least made them out of fish? That's a start in the right direction

In the same way that sausages are made of meat, or chicken "fingers" are made of chicken I expect....

Oh yes. Fish. And recovered, processed, liquidised and re-injected offcuts of fish. Plus phosphate for that plump white look.

i can't answer that as they only make the coating for the stuff
Must admit i do like the coating, but then again i use the flour that they produce to make my bread and baking etc

Must make those savings where i can
