Do you ever eat at KFC? If yes then it's worth trying Marys. If you'd never be seen dead in a KFC except drunk then don't go out of your way to find a Marys. Fine dining it is not.

No, its a (checks receipt from lunch time) $1.99 option

God, did I really pay $2 for cheese and chickeny gloop on my chips?

Oh well, a fix once in a while wont (necessarily) kill me (straight away)

I'm good for another 6 months or so now...

Off topic, but a family sized portion of chips and popcorn chicken at KFC here borders on the obscene.....

proper poutine's OK - but I wouldn't go anywhere near KFC and even if I did I doubt their rendition of poutine's got much in common with the thick cut fries and big globs of curd cheese that it should consist of.

To be fair to KFC they do at least use cheese curd. That has novelty around here, where people seem to think you can substitute mozza and do no harm:curse:

I quite like KFC fries, but its the chicken gravy that makes it a bit weird. The poutine thing is just a craving i get occasionally.....like A&W Onion Rings. Lets just say Im not an gastronome like dbd...

I quote:

"Mary Browns success is based on providing consistently superior product at affordable prices"

Are you saying that the above statement may not be the whole truth? If they say it on there website then it must be true eh!!!

It may be a tad greasy but I love the flavour of KFC - especially pulling the skin off a thigh. Absolute bloody heaven, especially the crunchy bits.

I don't know why they do anything else...wings, strips, chickenburgers, coleslaw...just what's the point? It's like marmite...love it/hate it, buy it or don't.

The chips serve a purpose, of course. But all I really want there is the chicken.
