Given the examples of Chretien to Harper, I think for a Canadian PM looking like a nonce is probably de rigueur.

Nope. The conservatives seem the tits. Not that I care.

Typical ad hominem crap from the CRAP redux.

Mulcair was rather prominent in the news commenting on Trudeau's "levity".

That wasn't funny, that was just retarded.

This, and the China comment, only shows what an airhead Justin really is;
his remarks on China, his remarks a few yrs ago about the word barbaric being offensive to describe islamic honor killings, his remarks that french Canadian liberals are the only ones who can run Canada, etc...just shows he is out to lunch mentally and a joke.

This man is not what Canada needs as a PM.
He is living off Daddy's name, nothing more.

I don't vote since I can't, but I hope those that do vote, do so more then just off his name and who he is related to.

Maybe we need 3 PM's one to represent the west, one for the east, and one for the north....

Seems to be a large difference in Canada of what the west wants vs the east vs the north.

I hear it nearly non-stop from people out here about how eastern politicians don't understand the west, but not sure how large that population is.

OK, so he was flippant, and a bit of a tit...a bit of a young tit, with a life ahead of him, and chance to learn the art of diplomacy. There are quite enough old farts who make fools of themselves on a daily basis and have no chance of learning anything, and little will to change. I'd suggest they were beaten soundly for their misdemeanors, but being politicians there's the chance they might enjoy it

I'm not quite sure which of the other 'serious' 'honest' 'non-tit' politicians we have queuing up that might have the chance to win the ballot. ?

The Liberals made a huge mistake electing him leader. He will either be a disaster who will not be able to lead them back into government or he will lead them back into government but will be a complete disaster for the country, especially as he is woefully unqualified which means that backroom Liberal hacks will really be calling the shots.

Marc Garneau is infinitely more qualified to lead both the party and the country. They should have elected him but they went for style over substance and either they are going to pay for it, or we are all going to pay for it.

I just hope that Garneau is willing to run again when the time comes and that the Liberals finally find their brains and elect him leader.

JT is 42 - is that young? Without his surname he'd be a million miles from public office.
