there will be very few long term jobs for british columbians on the pipeline. however, there are lots of jobs for british columbians that rely on tourism and clean water, air, landscape etc, inconveniently for the tar propagandists I'm sure. This pipeline is not popular all throughout the province, not just vancouver.

So when will the attack adds start? Perhaps Harper will be content to let Trudeau and Mulcair slug it out in Quebec?

Too young. Lacks gravitas. I wouldn't vote for him because he looks like somebody I'd find very annoying.

As for serious analysis, was the "Pulp Fiction" snapshot (in the CBC article) of he and his wife dancing staged ?

Unlike Stephen Harper - where what you see is what you get! I think Trudeau will be a good leader for the Liberals, but it's too much to wish for that he'll be able to pry Harper out of big buisness' butt. Sophie, (as well as Maggie's influence) gives him a humanitarian cast. Sophie's been dragging him around to all the major pestilent starvation areas in the third world as part of her charity work for years so at least Justin knows what's there, besides just an inconvenient mass of people with no money. For those who are so cynical they don't think real democracy is possible at all, they may be disappointed if he surprises them.

Too young? He may well lack gravitas and is annoying I grant you but at 41 he's well old enough to be PM, especially of Canada as he's not going to have to make major world shattering decisions.

Yes, if Kim Jong Un (aged 29) can rock the planet toward nuclear war, young JT is not really that much of an issue.

You raise good points. And I don't know if he is actually annoying or not, but he looks it. On the plus side, looking annoying is probably preferable to looking like a nonce.
