Yesterday Jezza and Theresa had TV debate (not against each other, of course, Theresa is too 'strong' to engage in that). At one point on under-funding of schools, she seemed to suggest, like the NHS, it's not 'just money' that you need to provide a decent result. It really is bizarre that this government seems to think it can under-fund the NHS, the schools, and the military, and yet rely on good-old-fashioned industriousness to produce decent outcomes. A bit like Ben Carson's naive thinking that their is a natural order to wealth and poverty.

It seems to me, for the first time in a very long time, that some people are finally waking up to the fact that the Tories are liars beyond compare. They have taken the electorate for fools with all this repetitive "strong and stable" guff while doubling the national debt on their watch. Hopefully they will get a bloody nose next week.

'Liars beyond compare'? A little wide ranging I think given that there are a great many contenders for the title.
Do I detect just a little partisan overstatement here?
Also... Have just looked at the betting odds from Coral.
Conservative - 1/12
Labour - 7/1
Lib Dems - 500/1
Ukip - 1000/1
Greens - 1000/1
I can understand the odds for the top two, but who in their right mind considers that the other three have ANY chnace of winning. Surely these odd should reflect the realistic propability that the event could occur. Methinks Coral are being just a little tight fisted in their odds.

I understand that but since only the conservatives or labour have a realistic chance of winning, perhaps more astronomical odds would attract the odd loonie who'll chance some cash.. just in case, a little like buying a lottery ticket.. at 1000:1 only an idiot would chance any money.. in fact at 1,000,000:1 it's still money down the drain but a little more attractive. It's not like a horse race where jockeys can be bought and no-hopers can win.

Theresa May promised not to hold an election, and changed her mind at the first opportunistic whiff. Boris Johnson is a proven liar, multiple times over, yet May made him Foreign Secretary. They ARE liars, and in my view beyond compare because they need you to forget their lies and ask for your trust to deliver something neither of them believe in.

I see the latest yougov poll is projecting that the Tories will NOT have a working majority after the election, the calling of which is proving an absolute disaster for Theresa May.

Her arrogance and incompetence are catching up with her. Likewise, Jezza's sincerity and even handedness is starting to grow on the public. And that's before we even get into policy.

Has anybody looked at the Daily Mail online site? The hysterical abuse and hatred that Corbyn is getting in the Mail is truly shocking. It is beyond propaganda now, it really is actively trying to influence the election.

This is a party who held a totally unnecessary EU referendum in order to deal with an internal party schism. Now, we are being told to accept the referendum result and move on, despite the fact that for 40 years half the Conservative Party didn't accept that the majority of the UK had voted us INTO the EEC.

May's reaction and handling of the Brexit decision is incomprehensible. If she was a confirmed Eurosceptic, taking a hardline post referendum would have some consistency, but she wasn't. Instead, her lack of imagination, and overall headmistress persona is resulting in bizarre appointments and feverish commitment to a hard Brexit in the name of a flawed referendum. She is a farce, and she seems intent on leading Britain down a farcical path.

The DM has started to show up on my Google Newstand app for some reason, but no, haven't seen that. I just keep getting articles from the Guardian affirming my views. The joy of echo chambers!
