June 8th poll

Re: June 8th poll
I can't see that happening. After their dismal failure in this election, they're far more likely to double-down and replace Corbyn with someone even more extreme.

What, like they were when they were first founded. Trouble is, a lot of people don't like to think of themselves as "working class".

May wins second election. Scotland doesn't leave.
Greece implodes and leaves euro, defaults on debts brings about another bank crisis. At least one other country suffers from high euro and needs bailout but doesn't get one, defaults on debts, deepens bank crisis, leaves euro. Euro crashes, Germany cheers.
IS goes underground and abandons Arabia, attacks europe.
Trump abandoned by republicans, bank crisis worse and Dow Jones slumps. Wall falls over as tunnels undermine it. US citizens invade Canada.
North Korea launches one missile too many and Kim assassinated.
Space X sends tourists to the moon but loses them.
Florida wiped out as climate change generates a new category of hurricane.
San Andreas slips and West Coast sinks 20m, millions dead.
Yellowstone super volcano erupts and the north west american continent become uninhabitable.
Alien spacecraft arrive and mistake a friendly satellite launch as an attack and obliterate Asia and Europe.
The four horsemen of the Appocolypse arrive but leave when they see they can do nothing to make things worse.
Trump tells Sean Spicer to tell the US that everything is fantastic and wonderful. Runs for second etherial term and the dead vote for him. He wins and declares that he's won by the greatest dead majority in the history of the Universe.
The sun explodes.
The End.

Where I'm registered the vote the Tories have a majority with Labour and Lib Dems almost joint second splitting any effective opposing votes. so bloody annoying if those snotty bar stewards get back in and continue to ruin the NHS and abandon disabled people.

...and today, Theresa has pledged to "protect worker's rights"! You couldn't make it up, really.

Re: June 8th poll
Luckily. my vote is in a Labour held constituency. So my protest vote for Labour won't make any difference.

"....a certain type of socialist – a type they believed to be utterly out of touch with their lives, views and interests. Orwell agreed. This type of socialist, he complained bitterly, was “bearded”, “vegetarian”, “teetotal”, “prim”, “middle-class”, “a crank” and “a pacifist”."
What would George Orwell think of Jeremy Corbyn?

UKIP are going to end up on zero seats after this election, and were crushed in the local elections. They're done. Unfortunately that's as a result of Brexit likely going ahead.

It's encouraging to see that Theresa does not have a total landslide on here (at least). Jezza seems to be rising to the challenge, he certainly seems a more viable candidate than he did when first appointed, but despite that and a populist manifesto his choice of sidekicks (Dianne Abbot and John McDonnell) will raise serious fears in any sane elector. And the Lib Dems continue to demonstrate a lack of political nous.
