We all said there appeared to be something not right about this guy, I guess we were on point.

The original story never added up in the first place. It was always fishy and never really sat right.
And it's interesting that there's a media blackout on the name of the person he is alleged to be the victim of the various charges.
You can probably connect the dots on that one.

For "person" in your comment, read "people." According to the limited amount the media have been allowed to report on this there are two victims involved. One hopes that one of them isn't a child... it's also instructive that his wife's only statement was that she and the children are "healthy and holding up as well as we can," before saying she couldn't comment further.
. Also yeah what everyone else said in this thread about something being “off†with the story. I’m hoping I wasn’t wrong about giving some “benefit of the doubt†to JB.

Additional/replacement charges
And a new psychiatric assessment.
The 19 new charges, which relate to one alleged victim instead of two, are:
One count of sexual assault while threatening to use a weapon (ropes).
One count of sexual assault with a weapon (ropes).
One count of uttering a threat to cause death.
Nine counts of assault.
One count of assault with a weapon (a broomstick).
Three counts of unlawful confinement.
One count of administering a noxious substance (the antidepressant Trazodone).
One count of public mischief (misleading a police officer into believing that someone was suicidal and missing, causing the officer to start an investigation, and thereby diverting suspicion away from Boyle).
One count of criminal harassment.

What I don’t understand is how come 90% of the Canadian population found JB to be a little odd, and not the sort of person who they would use as a last minute baby sitter yet PM selfie thought meeting him was a normal thing to do?
#70
Well the story was plausible at the beginning so it made sense for JT to meet them. Selfies are big for him...

Sometimes you really do let your bitterness get the better of you.
Imagine the commentary if a country's leader doesn't do something.

A statement from the PM would have been suffice at that stage
