This was going over in the am though... pretty close to IFR

A buddy and I went over for lunch to YYJ. It was a bit murky in the morning, but cleared on the run home. No wind at all, 5c, a perfect day to fly. We were trying out a new aircraft.

Did Charlie bite your finger ?

very jealous. the cruddy winter here means I'm getting no flying in whatsoever. in the past six weeks I've managed 0.5 in the circuit. The weather started getting bad just as I was ready to do my cross country.

Good luck with your x country, almost as memorable as the first solo. Mine was just so, but the details are still classified

Doesn't look like mine is going to be happening anytime soon
Can't keep the lesson momentum up in prep for it with the unreliable weather.

Done some smaller dual ones , last one was out to Kitchener . managed to annoy the tower there on that one

Main one is going to be city , Muskoka and Peterborough . where I actually end up.though is anyone's guess

Sheesh. You could do that cross country on skis.

Yup probably a lot easier too ! Stopping and asking for directions would be a lot easier for sure
