New Years Eve and it's -11c with a wind chill of -20c, the wind is blowing and so is the snow.

Call me a wimp, but I am staying home in the warm, sod going out.

-18 c where I am. My SIL is visiting in a couple of days from your neck of the woods (Binbrook) and I'm sure she will complain about the cold here in Ottawa.

It's -18 here but feels like -24, and -29 tomorrow:confused:

...yes, exciting night in Fredericton, I can't now see the snow plough as the snow bank is so high, and I'd love to go to bed with a good book and my husband, but The Young Pretender insists we stay up, as he's never been allowed up before...he's 13 next week, so this responsibility hangs heavy!

New Years Day here in Ottawa right now at -23C and -33C with wind chill.
So I'm afraid to say that you are indeed a wimp.
The wife is already moaning at me to put the heating on.
