Hope tomorrow is a better day, and you get a new shiny sign. I am sure yer man there can ease the strain with some nice back and feet rubs..........whilst Robert is at work

But so your husband doesnt feel left out, I got him a companion too...... He's going to kill me right? Ah but its worth it!

Have a big drink and just remember these things are sent to try us - you will be in Canada soon, they will still be arsing about with nothing better to do.

roflmao - my visual to this was fantastic and had me giggling to myself for hours - thanks mandymoo

One year back a wee while when it was snowing some boys through some snowballs at the house, fine it didn't bother me until the window cracked, so went out and told them got a mouthful of verbal so phoned the police and they said they were too busy to deal with it, my 2 boys were painting with the large plastic containers the squeezy ones, so after another 10 mins and several more broken panes i went out and chased them up the road aimed the paint and got 2 or 3 of them on there jackets they ran off back to mummy,

i got a phone call from one of the mums demanding i buy a new jacket and how dare i do that to her son
i said i would pay for a new jacket if she pays for the glass, next thing the police amasingly arrive following her complaint and Dave our local copper came in with another one, i gave him the bottles of paint and said there now you won't have trouble finding them, they fell about laughing ( thank goodness ) and yes the parents had to pay for the new glass,

hope it all goes ok for you nova you can borrow one of my dogs if you like

Just sitting in my house, minding my own business when there was a knock at the door. A man is standing there saying "is that for sale sign yours? - cos it's ON FIRE"

3 buckets of water late I called the police to report it, they gave me a crime number but didn't really seem that interested otherwise.

Still fuming I jump in the care to go for a drive, if the police won't look for the little b*******s then I will. If I'd have seen anyone with so much as a match I would have been charged with GBH.

Anyway, just down the road I spot a fire engine so I went to chat to the firemen. Turns out my for sale board isn't the only thing that has been set fire to tonight. Somebody must have a birthday and is using local property as candles. Nothing major mind, but unpleasent nontheless.

All I need now is for this to get into the local press, then I will never sell the damned house. I wouldn't mind, but we live in a desirable area, non estate position, large gardens, popular village. Now it feels like some ghetto.

Anyway, who's got the vodka???
Oh - you poor thing. I'm so sorry for you!!!!

Enjoy the wine / vodka / gin / beer etc. that you have been given.

Fingers crossed that the house will sell for you tho.

Speak soon.

Just to update, I now have a shiny new sign outside my house. Thank you everyone for your kind words (and offers of alcohol). Still no viewings though.

Hope things look up for you soon. These animals make me mad and it's partly because of that type of behaviour we don't want to return to the UK.

I'm also trying to sell my house but it's in France and I think the situation here is just as bad or if not worse than the UK
