Did you get many pictures? If so could you post or make a link to them?

Aw, thank you very much. I can't seem to get it working but I'll ask hubby when he gets in to help me, he might get it working for me (I'm a tech-dunce:p)

But that was very sweet of you to to supply, thanks.:)

Didn't take pictures. Took a pocket camera then got too absorbed in the event I guess. It was a fast paced game and quite mesmerizing. Only the 2nd hockey game I have seen since living in Canada.

Usually not much of an enthusiast myself, went for my daughter who loves sport. The whole atmosphere though totally takes over and it would be hard for anyone not to be caught up in it.

I was opposed to the Olympics, but once they were here we had to make the most of it. I must say Vancouver to a pretty spectacular job of the whole thing.

Really did, our Kiwi commentators over there are gushing about the whole thing, the games themselves, Vancouver as a city, Canada as a country and especially the people.

Why? we should be proud of the country we have all chosen to live in. I certainly am!

It was a great game and on the day I think the better team won. USA are great competitors and, as said on the BBC broadcast of the game, it's one of the world's great rivalries. The even compared it to England vs Germany in soccer. I think that's somewhat far-fetched, nevertheless we won GOLD and that's what's important.

I didn't see the end but am pleased it was a story book ending to the games, as well as the medals (even if I count the non Canadian / USA way -gold >silver>bronze).

enjoyed the coverage too, thanks to bbci
