I think this story merits it's own..

There we have a wonderful example of the pointlessness of trying to press this movement into a mold corresponding to the current norms.
Not only that, but in my experience, the border collie is likely a lot more intelligent than the mayor.

The irony is that the website is trying to make them look bad - but in fact the opposite is the case here. This is a brilliant move - I for one welcome our new dog overlords.

Says it all really about how rudderless and incoherent the entire movement has become. It's all gone to the dogs ...

I went past their camp this afternoon. Very smart, very comfortable, the homeless who got kicked for it must be right pissed. I hope the movement has security guards as they're at risk from squatters.

I was down there last Saturday and all the tents were locked up (as it were).
Splitters! I thought. But it turns out they were all off on a search for a border collie.

I went past the Vancouver one the other day. Very nice too. In fact it was a lot better than most Canadian campsites I've read about. At least there were a lot of cafes and pubs and if the kids get bored the Science World is only short bus ride away.
