I know we already have an occupy thread but...
I think this story merits it's own..
http://www.owsexposed.com/2011/11/08...-their-leader/ There we have a wonderful example of the pointlessness of trying to press this movement into a mold corresponding to the current norms. Not only that, but in my experience, the border collie is likely a lot more intelligent than the mayor. |

The irony is that the website is trying to make them look bad - but in fact the opposite is the case here. This is a brilliant move - I for one welcome our new dog overlords.

Says it all really about how rudderless and incoherent the entire movement has become. It's all gone to the dogs ...

I wonder what the appropriate representative for the Toronto group would be if Rob Ford demands they elect a leader?

I went past their camp this afternoon. Very smart, very comfortable, the homeless who got kicked for it must be right pissed. I hope the movement has security guards as they're at risk from squatters.
I was down there last Saturday and all the tents were locked up (as it were). Splitters! I thought. But it turns out they were all off on a search for a border collie. |
