Hurricane Bill

Well we were very lucky and have nothing to complain about except a poor night's sleep listening to a cat that spent half the night pacing the house and begging to go out!
Thankfully the humidity is finally starting to break too - now that was brutal.

I was thinking about you NL people last night as Bill blew through on land. Hope everyone else is ok
We were pretty unscathed up here. Strangely enough, the winds blew strong once Bill had passed by. We had blue skies high above with very low dark clouds hurtling by (no rain) - like watching time-lapsed photography - it was weird

Bill did not make it's way on land in NS and by the time it reached NL it was weak. This was a good drill though, sooner or later we will be hit again. We usually don't see Hurricanes until mid Sep-mid Nov, so there could be more storms to prepare for this year.
