We could use the average UK (non-retired) household size from this link it's from 2003-2004, but won't be that far-out. There is another link that includes retirees too - but IMO I thought the non-retiree households would be more representative of UK household immigrating to Canada.

So from the link it's 2.7 people per household. To make the maths even easier
- just divide the $$$ by 3 to get an approximate per-person figure. Nic
