Having a really BAD F'ing Day.

My sympathies and hugs

you could be my twin just now in terms of general crappiness - had to have a whole heap of work done to the house which has cost a fortune (currently fighting with contractors over the bill, they are taking the proverbial).
hubby went back to Scotland last week to do some work in the aberdeen office before going to halifax for a month. while back in aberdeen, his dad's health has taken a downturn, and the nurse in the care home says it's the beginning of the end. so he's stayed there to spend the time with his dad. i'm stuck here working, passports are in london getting our pr visas in them (cos he work's in lots of countries, he has 2), and he is just having a completely crappy time of it, and i feel miles away. it's made worse by the fact that his mum died in July, so this is the second trip back this year for not nice reasons. the only hope on the horizon is that I am due to go over in a couple of weeks for my gran's 100th, so hopefully he'll still be there and I can support him better.
so, pretty much now how you feel - am now going to go and eat a whole tube of cheesy pringles since i don't do coffee.
anything i can do to help, feel free to pm.
and apologies for the thread hijack.

2 children annoying the hell out of each other and the cat whilst I am trying to make phone calls - why do kids do this? You don't hear a peep out of them and as soon as they know you are on the phone, they make enough noise for a whole house of kids!
Well, this one made me laugh, my kids always raid the fridge when I'm on the phone

Appointment is next wednesday 9.15am .. dentist explained it bluntly to him .. he is just a stubborn little BA****d .. so now i can stress until then .. or maybe i could get the pliers out, sit on his chest and attempt to pull it out myself .. he would only have nightmares for the rest of his life and hate me forever but at least he would get his games console ..lmao

So, onto a new day with a new shiney, happy perspective.
What's that - oh it's the phone.
It's OH in the UK telling me our rental agents didn't pay enough rent into our UK account and we have missed a mortgage payment and could I pop $1500 over to sort it...ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I am off to start making my own money :curse:
I would now officially go on the record and say DO NOT USE FOX & SONS to rent your house out. They are bloody rubbish.

Hi Amy, I am sending you a cyber hug and hope things get better. Sorry to hear you are having a bad few weeks.
I recommend a large bar of cadbury's Aero or something similar, if you can get this in NS, a mug of coffee and curl up on the sofa, after putting kids to bed, and put on a good movie, one that will make you laugh.
Just chill and relax and take Val up on her Branston
Hope things look better soon, Emmjay

Definitely twins!
Yesterday OH was feeling a bit under the weather, I assumed it was just a typical case of man flu (i.e. a wee cold).
Nope, phoned him today, just back from the doctors and he has acute tonsilitis. Ho hum.
Tomorrow has to be better? Doesn't it!?

Fox and Sons seems to be run by 18 year old estate agents who are complete idiotic wastes of space. Every time they do something stupid I think..surely they can't do anything to top this...but they prove they can!
