God is white so Santa has to be white but I heard the Devil had something to do with the suit colour

Here's a very sorry excuse of a Santa in, where else, Milton Keynes...

Telling kids, of any colour, that Santa is white was clearly bad form but what I find truly hilarious is the teacher getting into trouble over it, and what would have happened had the teacher simply told the kids the truth that there is no such creature? Would he have been equally disciplined over it or does this silly pathetic incident have a racial aspect to it?

It's a tricky question alright. I mean does a teacher getting into trouble for being a bit racist have a racial aspect to it? But after some consideration, I believe the answer is yes. Yes, it does have a racial aspect to it.

Someone joked in a post above that "Black Santa will only still the gifts", and in the same breathe you can add that "White Santa" will only molest the kids....may be, may be not.
You can't help but think whether this same teacher when it comes to marking papers, will actually grade a minority kid lower than a White kid based on the now obvious racist tendencies?

That's an unjustified leap. That someone has fixed and stereotypical views about a fictional character tells you nothing of that person's professional conduct.

Speaking of SANTA, what is his modus operandi in your home (past or present)...does he deliver ALL the prezzies or just some or just the main prezzie? I assumed everyone did the latter option, but recently found out there are different ways...

Had the kids tell Santa (on his knee or in a letter) of a special present they wanted or something they wished could happen and tried to make that come true. It was interesting how "what they wanted" changed through the years and it got them to take a picture with Santa 'til they were teenagers

In previous years he delivered all of them. Now that the kiddies no longer believe, he doesn't attend at all.

So were there no presents under the tree until Christmas Day (while the kids believed)? And how did it work out with different aged kids (with one still believing)?
