It was the first one that came up on Google.

I have a couple of acoustics, but don't own a hollow bodied electric, nor have I ever played one.

Have you?

No, I don't, AC. I am still mulling over that purchase I mentioned (for a friend). Cheers.

I have a hollow-body, or as it's called in the UK, a semi-acoustic. I bought it when I was living in a work camp and didn't want to annoy my close neighbours with either a full acoustic or an amplified electric. It's loud enough for me to hear, but not my neighbours. Of course, you can plug it in when you need to.

My acoustic has electric pickups built in and a small equaliser and vol knob that all runs off a 9v battery. I like that set up because I don't like normal heavy acustic strings. I put 009 electric strings on it and get the richer sound by plugging in.

Ah interesting. I will go check one out tomorrow but as I am completely ignorant, will probably end up buying the wrong one

I picked this up today off a Kijiji add. It's a Art & Lutherie "Wild Cherry" acoustic, they are hand made in Canada, Quebec to be exact, it's a 1999, it's my first quality guitar as the rest of my group are low budget shiny things lol. Actually the Fender Squier plays really well.

I played some tunes when I went to buy it and almost shit myself at how good I sounded. I was like WTF have I been missing lol
