Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?

Re: Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?
Wife and I started watching Bridgerton the other night. Not everyone's cup of tea, basically it's the 1813 version of Gossip girl
Started watching ‘It’s a Sin’ on Prime about some a bunch of young guys living in London and the progression of AIDS in the early 1980s onwards.
Without giving too much away I found the end of episode 2 very heartbreaking and difficult to watch.

That is next on my list of things to watch.
Thought this movie was very good.

The main character Adele is Bono's Daughter, never seen her on TV before, she did a great job.

The plot sounds a bit like a movie I stumbled across last night while trawling HBO - "The Good Liar" -
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5563334/
Has a pretty decent cast - Ian McKellen, Helen Mirren, and more familiar faces. Not bad.

"I care a lot" - with Peter Dinklage and Rosamund Pike. I can't see enough of Rosamund (ever since "Gone Girl"!)

Started watch ‘The Great’ satirical series regarding Catherine The Great of Russia - taking a bit of time to get into but still nowhere near as bad as Bridgerton lol

I Love 'The Great' it does say at the beginning an 'occasionally true' story, and it is really played for the comedy.

Started this last night, looks pretty good so far. Looks like it is time travel related with a few twists.

Yes, indeed! The IMDB link suggests it's on Netflix but very helpful to put it in the post.
Unrelated ... are commercials creeping into Amazon Prime shows now? Last night, I gave a 2nd (or perhaps 3rd?) try at getting into 'Schitt's Creek' on Amazon Prime. I could swear, last time there were no commercials but this time I had to suffer through quite a few (with fast-forward disabled). I'm still not exactly loving it but several people have recommended it so I shall give it a few more episodes.
Also, 'non-Amazon content' seems to be disappearing from Amazon Prime. I guess this is a natural development. I used to absolutely love watching 'Parks and Recreation' (I'm pretty sure it was on Amazon Prime, but could have been Netflix ...) but it's disappeared now. I can get it 'free' on the NBC 'Peacock' service, but - forced to watch it with commercials on that platform, which completely sucks!

Schitt’s Creek...my sister has just been saying how much she loves it. I tried but couldn’t get into it. Maybe I will try again...someday,
